This is an etching of the Library House in Kings Cliffe. It looks a bit spooky in this photo, but the actual picture is much more pleasant. I must remember to ask either the present or previous occupiers if it is haunted!
Locals to my home and workshop might recognise this historic tree. In Kings Cliffe it is usually simply known as the 'Beech Tree', sometimes as the 'Fair Tree' (something to do with horse fairs I believe) and I have heard it referred to as the 'Cathedral Tree'.
