Frame of the month - September

September 23, 2019

Not strictly a frame, just a case of a slipped chicken!

In this image you can see that the picture has slipped revealing the greyish backing board underneath. The original mount was a double mount with the undermount being a pale brown colour, similar to the colour of the wooden frame. The neutral coloured top mount was grubby, having collected dust and dirt over the years.

And here is the remounted version.

The chicken now sits squarely in the frame, a new double mount has been cut with a dark green undermount which give a more modern, bold look to the picture. The frame was in good enough condition to reuse and still lends itself well to the picture.

Chicken and customer satisfied!
